Media is a willing partner, looking for stories with a "difference." What does your product or service do? What changes does it bring about? Many times companies, executives, and managers shy away from media—the exposure is uncomfortable, it could make us look bad, and risks trump gains. Yet, when 'real people' tell the story in a way that dramatizes how your product or service change lives in business or personally, news media gives your company credibility; it's not just PR.
