square Presentation Presence I & II

Wanda Royse founded WR Communication Consultants (WRCC) in 1984 because of her strong belief that success in today's business world depends on communication excellence. Ms. Royse's blend of business experience and theater arts uniquely qualifies her as a communications expert. Responsible for media relations at Atari, she produced multi-media presentations on high technology research and development. As sales and marketing manager at Abbot Systems, she incorporated the sales expertise she acquired as an account executive for Drake International. wanda bio pic

In the broadcast industry, Ms. Royse co-hosted an afternoon talk show and worked as a weather reporter. As a professional singer and actress, she toured with Fred Waring and the Pennsylvanians, performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, and has appeared on several national television commercials. She performed locally with Broadway By The Bay, Vintage Music Orchestra, and directed the Capuchino Community Theater’s annual musical review for 10 years. She continues to perform with the Golden Gate Radio Orchestra.

Ms. Royse is often called upon to speak at professional meetings and conferences regarding communication skills and presentation presence. Her expertise is one reason why Silicon Valley and Bay Area clients, such as Adaptec, Applied Biosystems, Berlex Pharmaceuticals, Comerica Bank, Deloitte & Touche, FileMaker, Inc., Korn/Ferry International, Leadership Sunnyvale, Plantronics, United Commercial Bank, and Wells Fargo Bank have selected Ms. Royse as a key partner in meeting their training and development needs. Ms. Royse offers executive coaching for major presentations and IPO’s, and customizes programs for senior management conferences and off-site meetings. Her one-on-one attention enables clients to develop their unique communication style and receive feedback in a confidential and non-threatening environment.

Ms. Royse graduated Phi Kappa Phi from San Jose State University, where she received a B.A. in Broadcast Communication and Theatre Arts. She received a California Merit Scholarship to the University of Southern California, where she studied theatre arts for two years. She has been active in the Hillsborough schools, serving as parent group president and publicity chairperson for the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance. She was the director of the Youth Choir for the Millbrae Community United Methodist Church for 18 years. Ms. Royse also served on the Planned Giving Council for the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children.
